JCPenney Announces a New Rewards and Credit Program
April 18, 2024
JCPenney has announced a new Rewards and Credit Program. This free loyalty program could potentially return half a billion dollars to the pockets of America’s working families.
This new program is designed to help customers get more, earn more, and save more during every trip as part of its ongoing Make It Count commitment. It comes with in-store savings and a chance to meet NBA legend Shaquille O’Neil. Here are the details.
JCPenney’s new Rewards Program has standardized its previous program, thus making it more straightforward to earn up to two times faster. Rewards members receive a $10 CashPass Reward for signing up and $10 on their birthday. Plus, rewards can be stacked on top of other coupons and used on any purchase. The program is free to join as part of the company’s commitment to a rewarding shopping experience for its customers.
“We want every trip to JCPenney to be worth it. We want it to be easier to take advantage of our rewards, easier to reach rewards milestones, and to make it a sure thing that every member sees rewards each year,” said Katie Mullen, chief customer officer of JCPenney.
“Enhancing our Rewards Program is an important piece of how we bring value to our customers, but not the only piece,” she added. “We’re already known for offering the widest range of accessible fashion across beauty, home, apparel, fine jewelry, salon and more, and we want to continue to earn the loyalty of America’s diverse working families.”
JCPenney has also partnered with NBA legend and longstanding brand ambassador Shaquille O’Neal to offer consumers even more ways to score more points and save. On May 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. local time, current and new Rewards members alike can visit JCPenney and complete an in-store three-point shot challenge set by Shaq to win a mystery coupon for $10 to $100 off.
