Plant at heart of baby formula shortage has reopened

Abbott Nutrition reopened its baby formula plant in Sturgis, MI, on July 1. The plant, which initially closed in mid-February after an FDA inspection found strains of bacteria that can be deadly to infants, caused a nationwide shortage.
