Job openings in December rose above 11 million, up from 10.4 million in November, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The number of job openings in December reached the highest level since July. “Last year the labor market was white hot,” said Daniel Zhao, lead economist at Glassdoor. “Now it’s just hot.”
