Las Vegas, though miles away from Louisville, gears up for the Kentucky Derby with a range of special offerings. From viewing parties to themed cocktails, the city joins the celebration of the sesquicentennial Run for the Roses.

Chéri Rooftop at Paris Las Vegas presents a viewing party with Maker’s Mark mint juleps, DJ, and more, while Resorts World offers limited-time mint juleps at Eight Lounge and Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge. Juliet Cocktail Room at The Venetian hosts a party with an open sparkling wine and mint julep bar.

South Point presents a free viewing party in the Grand Ballroom, featuring betting windows and a hat contest. The Still Crafts, Drafts & Eats at The Mirage serves up mint juleps and whiskey sours.


Tailgate Social Sports Bar & Grill at Palace Station features mint juleps and whiskey sours too. Additionally, General Admission sports lounge and Wineaux at UnCommons offer discounts for teachers and nurses until May 10.

Although Dairy Manufacturers Inc. initiated a recall on May 24, 2024, due to non-compliance with FDA regulations, new findings of Cronobacter contamination have prompted further action.
