Report: Walmart Pulls Guns and Ammunition From Sales Floor, Citing ‘Civil Unrest’

Walmart has removed guns and ammunition from its sales floors due to isolated incidents of “civil unrest,” according to CNBC. The retailer will continue selling the items in the stores that carry them, which account for approximately half its footprint. “We have seen some isolated civil unrest and as we have done on several occasions over the last few years, we have moved our firearms and ammunition off the sales floor as a precaution for the safety of our associates and customers,” said Walmart
