Apple has launched two-hour shipping on items in its store in “most metros,” according to its website. The service costs $5 and will be available for a limited time only. The deliveries can be made in a no-contact manner and utilize verbal confirmation instead of signature proof, at the shoppers’ request. Shoppers can still request free next-day delivery on any in-stock Mac, iPad, iPhone, Apple TV or Apple Watch, with two-day delivery on other products.

Haglöfs , a Swedish outdoor clothing, footwear and hardware retailer, has selected Centric Software’s product lifecycle management (PLM) solution. Haglöfs chose the platform to help manage its Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer product collections, each of which call for the creation of 400 to 450 styles annually. The retailer’s previous PLM system had limited capabilities and only housed product-related processes related to the clothing lines, while also requiring a lot of manual work.
