Rollover, the hot food-to-go brand best known for its hot dogs, has increased its burger range by launching a cheeseburger and a double cheeseburger.

The new burgers are available to convenience stores all over the UK.

The pre-cooked, frozen beef patties in both the Cheeseburger and the Double Cheeseburger are quarter-pounders (113g) and are served with slices of cheese in Rollover’s hand-finished buns.

The cheeseburgers will be served in fully recyclable, biodegradable and compostable packaging made from a combination of wrapping paper and a cardboard tray, all designed to retain the burgers’ temperature for eating on-the-go.

Burgers continue to have mass appeal. On average, 63% of the population of Great Britain buys burgers once a month.

Elodie Bretz, head of marketing at Rollover, said: “The popularity of burgers has continued to boom over the years and shows no sign of slowing down.

“Now, burgers are the number one main meal in out-of-home, so extending our burger range was the natural next step.”
