Girl Scout Cookies Are on Sale Today, Here’s How To Find Them

January 10, 2024

It’s that time of year — when fans of Girl Scout Cookies can get their fix of the treats celebrating over 100 years of sweet happiness. Today, Girl Scout cookies are available to purchase. Here’s how you can find them.

Proceeds from the annual sale, whose 2024 theme is “Unbox the Future,” go to help local troops that “play a vital role in powering impactful experiences throughout the year, including service projects, troop travel, and even summer camp,” according to USA Today.

Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) Chief Revenue Officer Wendy Lou said in a press release that “girls break expectations through the power of the cookie program and open a host of possibilities beyond the box.”

Each Girl Scouts council sets its own prices, ranging from $5 to $7 depending on where the person currently lives. GSUSA officials said the organization had to raise the cost of cookies due to inflation.

This season, scouts will be selling a variety of cookies. The lineup for 2024 includes Adventurefuls, Caramel Chocolate Chip, Caramel deLites/Samoas, Do-si-dos/Peanut Butter Sandwich, Girl Scout S’mores, Lemonades, Lemon-Ups, Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Toast-Yay!, Toffee-tastics, and Trefoils.

Girl Scouts can earn various badges and awards during the annual cookie program to develop valuable business skills, including Cookie Business badges, Financial Literacy badges, Cookie Entrepreneur Family pins, and Entrepreneur badges.

If you do not know a Girl Scout you can buy cookies from, click here to check with your local council or use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder to find a booth near you. Beginning on Feb. 16, you can have cookies shipped to your homes by entering your zip code into the Girl Scout Cookie Finder, according to the GSUSA. Additionally, you can text COOKIES to 59618 to stay updated about how to buy Girl Scout Cookies this season.

Girl Scout Cookie season is nationally recognized from January through April.
