Party City preps for bankruptcy

Party City has been hurt by a shortage of helium, rising prices and changes in consumer behavior. The company is reportedly in talks to swap equity for shares with debt holders as it moves closer to filing for bankruptcy. Party City currently has about $92 million in cash against $1.8 billion in debt.
