Walmart has passed Giant Eagle as the grocery market share leader in western Pennsylvania despite the supermarket and c-store operator being based in the area. Walmart has a 25.64 percent market share, followed by Giant Eagle, 21 percent, and Sam’s Club, 10 percent.
