Workers at Trader Joe’s to petition for union vote

Trader Joe’s associates at a store in Hadley, MA, say they have formed a union and are planning to file a petition with the National Labor Relations Board to put it to a vote. If staff vote for a union, it would become the first Trader Joe’s to do so. The chain operates 530 stores in the U.S.
