Nike posts record profits during ‘pivotal year’ for the brand

Nike’s annual profits skyrocketed 196 percent last year in what CEO John Donahoe called “a pivotal” year” for the brand as it brought its “Consumer Direct Acceleration strategy to life.” Direct sales from Nike’s stores and website grew to 37 percent of the brand’s total last year.
