T-Mobile’s ‘Hulu On Us’ Brings Trouble for Users
January 26, 2024
T-Mobile’s latest perk, Hulu On Us, was launched just yesterday, but the joy was short-lived for some users who ran into trouble trying to claim their free Hulu subscription.
The issue arose when T-Mobile’s subscribers were tasked with activating an offer through a link. Instead of a single link, there were several, each corresponding to a different subscriber category. What should have been a straightforward process ended up being somewhat convoluted for certain individuals.
Go5G Next subscribers were directed to a specific link to avail their free Hulu subscription. Meanwhile, subscribers on other plans who were presented with the full Hulu On Us offer had a different link to use. Adding to the complexity, there existed a separate link for T-Mobile customers who were eligible for a six-month trial of Hulu On Us.
This might be confusing, but once the user knows their category, getting the free Hulu promo is easier. A Reddit moderator said that having many links might not help all subscribers. But, T-Mobile sent a text with a link to those who can get Hulu On Us. This should make things easier for users.
T-Mobile’s efforts to mitigate confusion didn’t stop there. The company has provided comprehensive instructions on their website to guide subscribers on how to claim their Hulu On Us offer. This is a positive step towards disentangling the confusion and ensuring users can access what they’re entitled to.
Notably, the Hulu On Us perk is a recent enhancement to T-Mobile’s package for Go5G Next subscribers. It’s a substantial offer, providing subscribers with access to the standard Hulu subscription, usually priced at $7.99 per month, including advertisements. This new addition certainly adds value to the telecom service’s offerings.
