Sources say the Chinese government will reduce mass testing for COVID-19 in the face of nationwide protests. The government is also expected to allow those who test positive to quarantine at home rather than going to a government-controlled facility. Chinese lockdowns have stressed global supply chains since the beginning of the pandemic.
