Taco Bell customers get an early shot at Crocs’ Mellow Slides
June 14, 2023
Taco Bell customers who have reached Fire! Tier status in the chain’s loyalty program will be able to buy the Taco Bell x Crocs limited-edition Mellow Slide a week ahead of everyone else. The shoes are expected to sell for $60. “We know it doesn’t get much better than kicking back in comfort with a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, so pairing our Mellow Slide with Taco Bell is the perfect combo,” said Crocs CMO Heidi Cooley.
The Taco Bell Crocs collaboration will release to the general public on June 28.
From a design standpoint, the Taco Bell Crocs will feature a black to purple fade, reminiscent of hombre hair color fades.
The motto, “Live Más” will be printed on the top portion of the shoe’s sole, one word on each of the two Crocs.
This is the first time that Taco Bell has teamed up with the Crocs brand, and that leaves the question on consumer’s minds, “If this does well, will there be future brand collaborations?”
