David’s Bridal will showcase personalized service and inclusivity with a new store format in approximately 30 locations, including 12 all-new shops, in 2023. The planned upgrades follow soft launches of the concept earlier this year in Torrance, Calif., West Chester Township, Ohio, Lexington, Ky. and Cool Springs, Tenn.

The revamped stores will feature a new layout designed to support one-on-one customer experiences. At the new locations customers can walk in or make an appointment, and use the services of an expertly trained stylist and in-house alterations artisan. Select stores also will feature new brand offerings, including a customization lounge and try-on bar.

With a focus on inclusivity, David’s Bridal will carry thousands of dresses in sizes 0-30W in styles that complement different body types, heights and skin tones. Additionally, customers seeking formalwear beyond bridal will find a selection of styles for special occasions such as homecoming, prom, quinceañeras, date night, anniversaries, communions and graduations.

Select locations will include a Little White Dress Boutique and Flower Girl Shop, as well as a “shimmer and shine” shop that houses designer shoes and accessories. David’s Bridal will celebrate the new locations by hosting grand reopening events to educate consumers regarding its new services and in-store offerings.

The retailer has recently focused on refreshing its image to meet the needs of a diverse clientele, including introducing its first junior collection, Jules & Cleo, in February 2022. In June David’s Bridal launched a shoppable video campaign on TikTok with digital agency January Digital and digital advertising platform KERV Interactive.

“Our vast retail footprint and team of expertly trained stylists coupled with our personal in-store experience is why millions of customers trust us every day to help them find their dream dress,” said Jim Marcum, CEO of David’s Bridal in a statement. “We remain focused on continuing to expand and enhance our customers’ shopping experience. Serving her is what we do, and we are committed to offering the best in-store experience from the moment she steps into our stores to when she finds her dress and beyond.”
