In sign of the times, men’s suits scarce at Marks & Spencer stores

Marks & Spencer stores prided themselves on offering a full range of apparel to its British clientele, from casual to formal, but today only 110 of the chain’s 254 stores have men’s suits on their racks and it appears likely the trend will outlive the pandemic. According to Kantar, only two million men’s suits were sold in the UK in the last year, compared to five million a decade ago.
