The 2022 MAPIC Conference Programme has been released. As denoted by the central theme of this year’s conference, People, Planet, Profit: Navigating retail towards a more ‘human’ world, the focus will be on two central ideas: sustainability and new business models that integrate flexibility, prioritising human beings, their needs, new behaviours, and new ways of living.

PITCHING PROJECTS

MAPIC’s packed calendar will continue in parallel with on-site pitching sessions, covering Cities, Retail, Food, Innovation, and Leisure categories. These sessions facilitate the connection between landlords/owners and brands — allowing both to discover new innovative concepts and solutions, with each company will have just 5 minutes to pitch its concept, solution, or project to potential partners.

New for this year—and part of the pitching element—is a public vote for the Retail, Food, and Leisure sessions: the MAPIC 2022 Pitching Contest. The company or project with the most votes will receive an “People’s Choice” award during the MAPIC Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner on the evening of Wednesday 30th November.
