Montana Governor wants changes before signing TikTok ban into law

Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte is asking state legislators to change a TikTok ban bill before signing it. The governor sent proposed changes to the state’s Legislative Services Division. “The amendment for consideration seeks to improve the bill by broadening Montanans’ privacy protections beyond just TikTok and against all foreign adversaries, while also addressing the bill’s technical and legal concerns,” said a spokesperson for the governor.
