One such lawsuit involves a lease on Long Island, where Salisbury Partners is suing Amazon for $37 million, including unpaid rent. Amazon has faced similar lawsuits from landlords in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Seattle as it reevaluates its grocery strategy, which recently saw layoffs of hundreds of Amazon Fresh store workers and the cancellation of plans for some Fresh stores.
