The Culinary Union, representing about 60,000 members in Nevada’s service and hospitality industry, is planning to negotiate protections against AI taking jobs in a contract expected later this year. The union, which is willing to strike if necessary, believes that some jobs, especially those requiring personal interaction, cannot be fully replaced by technology.
