Kohl’s negotiating with Franchise Group over sale

Kohl’s has entered into exclusive sales negotiations with Franchise Group Inc., the owner of Vitamin Shoppe, Pet Supplies Plus and other retailers. Franchise Group plans to finance the deal by issuing $1 billion in debt. Kohl’s shareholders would receive $60 for each of their shares.
