Human Rights Campaign removes Anheuser-Busch from best employer list
May 19, 2023
The Human Rights Campaign has sent a letter to Anheuser-Busch advising that it has removed the company from its Corporate Equality Index, which scores companies based on their policies for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees. The move was made following the brewer’s response to opposition to using Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer, as part of a broader inclusivity social media marketing campaign. A-B may appeal the ruling, which would remove the beer company from a list of best employers for LGBTQ workers.
