NLRB redefines who qualifies as an employee

The National Labor Relations Board issued a ruling that broadens the definition of who should be classified as an employee. The ruling overturns a previous ruling that identified workers as contractors mainly based on the “entrepreneurial opportunity” associated with the work being done. That ruling was seen as a victory for gig economy companies like Lyft and Uber.

Blue Origin made a triumphant return to space tourism with the launch of its New Shepard rocket, marking the end of a nearly two-year hiatus.
