Global grocery sales grew 10 percent in 2020 as consumers spent more time in their homes due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Beverage sales, dairy and food products recorded the biggest increases over the course of the year, with three-quarters of categories posting gains, according to Kantar’s FMCG Omnichannel report.
