Salt Life has come a long way from its tattoo days

Salt Life’s founders got tattoos with the phrase on their bodies. Little did they know in 2003 that it would turn into a growing business with 23 stores and more on the way. The company decided to open a location in Nassau County on Long Island in New York. “Nassau County has the highest concentration of people searching for Salt Life in the United States,” said Jeff Stillwell, president of Salt Life Group at Delta Apparel, which acquired the company in 2013.
