A 42-year company veteran, Roberts has been COO since March 2017. Before that, he served as president of CVS Caremark, the company’s pharmacy benefits management (PBM) business. In this role, he and his team focused on helping the company’s PBM clients improve health care outcomes for their members while managing overall health care costs.

Jon has left an indelible mark on CVS Health – we thank him for his countless contributions, as well as for his dedication and service to the company. We wish him all the best in his retirement,” said Karen Lynch, president and chief executive officer at CVS Health.

Before being appointed president of CVS Caremark in 2012, Roberts served as COO of the PBM business. He also served as EVP of pharmacy purchasing, pricing and network relations from 2009 to 2010 and senior vice president and chief information officer from 2006 until 2008.
