Irons joins CJ Lang to drive wholesale and food service push

Steve Irons has been appointed to the new role of wholesale & new channels director by Scottish wholesaler and convenience retailer CJ Lang.

He will lead the development and growth of CJ Lang’s presence in the wholesale and food services markets.

Irons, who has more than 26 years of experience in the wholesale, food service, convenience and FMCG sectors, joins from Booker Wholesale Foods where he headed up the wholesale channel.

He started his career with CJ Lang before joining Bestway in 2010 as foodservice contracts and key account manager and moved to Booker in 2016 as a national account controller.

Based in Dundee, CJ Lang is Scotland’s largest independent retailing and distribution businesses and services operating over 300 independent and company-owned Spar stores.
