2019 JNUC Diversity Sponsorship Applications Now Available

For the third year in a row Jamf is offering 10 JNUC Diversity Sponsorships for people from underrepresented groups within the technology sector. They include free admission and a $500 stipend.

Every autumn, our Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC) in Minneapolis, Minnesota gets more popular, and it's easy to see why: more than 1,500 Apple IT administrators come together to share tips and tricks about managing their Apple deployments, to network, and to absorb presentations focused on Apple services and demos. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet peers, gain knowledge, and get a stronger footing in your field.

Every field is stronger when it's diverse and welcoming to all. To that end, for the third year in a row Jamf is running a JNUC Diversity Sponsorship program and will award sponsorships to 10 individuals from underrepresented groups within the technology sector.

The sponsorships include:

  • Ticket to JNUC
  • Exclusive meet-and-greet with Jamf senior leaders
  • $500 stipend to use toward travel and hotel costs
  • Social outing with other sponsorship recipients

“I've been attending and presenting at tech conferences for over a decade now, and I've seen a lot of things change in technology over this time. What I'm often asked though, is what more could we be doing to make a change in the diversity we see in our technical community,” said Andrina Kelly, Jamf employee. “I’m so proud to work for a company that not only recognizes the strengths diversity brings to the community, but is also actively fostering this with many initiatives, including the JNUC Diversity Sponsorship.”

We hope you’ll join us at this year’s JNUC from November 12-14! Those from an underrepresented group in the tech field are encouraged to apply for the JNUC Diversity Sponsorship  by 5:00 p.m. CDT on Monday, August 5. Past recipients are not eligible to apply.

All applications will be read and selected by members of the Jamf Inclusion and Diversity Committee. Sponsorship recipients, along with those who weren’t accepted, will be notified by August 30th.
